their responsibility to care for the environment.
These problems have generated a society and citizens who neglect the values
of their communities and the environment.
Our countries face the challenge of constructing a new generation of citizens
demonstrating a change of attitude towards the environment.
Since 1996, Arcandina
has developed an innovative proposal for direct communication and education
to awaken the imagination of children and promote changes of behaviour to
protect the environment.
Arcandina has produced more than 100 television programs and public service
announcements that have appeared throughout Ecuador, the United States and
Central America. The programs have participated in the Film festivals of Cartagena,
La Havana, Holland and Montevideo. Arcandina has received technical assistance
from Johns Hopkins University and USAID..
